Having worked with so many families, I realized that it is never easy being a parent these days. On one hand you must deal with the workload in the office, meetings, projects, deadlines and climbing up the corporate ladder or make your own business work. On the other hand, you also must handle the responsibilities at home. Living standards are rising, things are getting expensive, especially with high cost of living, imported items cost a lot more for the average singaporeans and not to forget the uncertainty of the job market.

When I was growing up, thanks to my parents financial literacy and them getting good financial advice, I had a pretty comfortable life growing up. What disturbed me was, when I became older, I realized that what I got to enjoy on an everyday life is not common to people around me. Many struggle to live with compromise, from paycheck to paycheck every month.. I see family break apart because of money.”
